MINIS DU SUD

The Association & Our Breeding Program

Les Minis du Sud is a non-profit organization founded by Corinne Quirici to support a simple, living, and deeply human project:

To offer both people and animals a peaceful, respectful environment, deeply rooted in the living world.

The association’s mission is to promote equine mediation experiences for a wide range of people, including those who may be emotionally vulnerable, living with disabilities, or going through more sensitive periods in life.

It also works to raise awareness of equine mediation, as well as a respectful, conscious, and deeply connected approach to horses and donkeys.

Through donations, sponsorships, and solidarity-based initiatives, Les Minis du Sud supports the educational stays offered by Cheval & Terre d’Accueil, helps bring equine mediation projects to life, and contributes every single day to the well-being of the herd of horses and donkeys — without whom none of these encounters would be possible.

Our Breeding Program

Within Les Minis du Sud, breeding holds an essential place.

Witnessing new lives being born, guiding them, educating them, and eventually seeing them become true partners in equine mediation… is at the very heart of this project.

None of this would be possible without horses and donkeys who are emotionally balanced, confident, respectfully educated, and deeply valued for who they are.

I often forget to say it, but the time devoted to my herd is immense.
It is, in many ways, one of the invisible foundations of everything we offer through Cheval & Terre d’Accueil.

Unfortunately, we cannot keep everyone forever…

And so, some of our horses and donkeys one day begin a new chapter elsewhere.

Writing these words… and being completely honest… still breaks my heart a little every single time.

Because here, they are not “just” animals.
They are family.

But deep down… they never truly belong to us.
Just like children, they are meant to grow… and one day, to live their own story.

These departures then become a unique opportunity for people looking for a trustworthy companion — emotionally balanced, respectful, close to humans, and already well educated.

And very practically, each adoption also helps support the entire herd that remains.

Here, there is hay all year round, regular veterinary care, farrier visits, supplements, maintenance, and daily attention… all of which comes with a very real cost.

By welcoming a horse or donkey from Les Minis du Sud, you are not simply acquiring an animal.

You are directly helping to keep the adventure of Cheval & Terre d’Accueil alive.
